We are in a golden age of smart wrist-based devices. You can have what amounts to a teeny tiny computer strapped to your wrist, or you can have a basic pedometer. There’s also the in-between, the devices meant to do one thing very well and that do ancillary items as a bonus. The Runtopia S1 exemplifies that type of device.
Alright, let just get this out of the way now: If you’ve ever attempted to podcast using a USB Microphone, it’s not the greatest experience you will have. Sure, a USB microphone may be most convenient, but with the Blue Ember XLR Microphone, you can have complete control as you record your audio.
Ultimate Ears describes the BOOM 3 Bluetooth speaker stating it is, “It’s the ultimate go-anywhere speaker.” This is the case thanks to its, “balanced 360° sound, deep bass, one-touch music control, water, dust & drop proof, and stunning, high-performance fabric.” With myBOOM Studio, you can create a unique, one-of-a-kind myBOOM 3.
So, where should we begin? This certainly isn’t the first couple’s toy that I’ve reviewed, but the We-Vibe Sync is certainly one that we’ve always wanted to test out. But when it came down to actually reviewing the product, I felt it would only be right to ask my wife questions about how she enjoyed the product. So let’s start from the top.
There are tons of countertop ovens on the market these days, but none as versatile as the Breville Smart Oven Air. With thirteen distinct cooking functions, you’d be hard pressed to find a more useful oven on the market. The Smart Oven Air features a 2-speed convection fan and Breville’s Element IQ technology. The Smart Oven Air retails for $409.95.
I recently reviewed the Vari ProPlus 36 Electric Sit-Stand desk converter. It’s awesome. (Read my review.) I also reviewed the Vari PowerHub. It’s also pretty great. (Read my review.) In the third and last review of this series, we are taking a look at the Vari Active Seat. This unusual chair was built with sit-stand desks in mind!
We’ve been quite impressed with the various phones we’ve reviewed from Honor. Their sleek form factor, powerful processors, fantastic cameras, and implementation of AI have made their offerings stand out in a crowded field. Like many people, I try to recycle and be somewhat cognizant of the trash I generate from just existing in the modern world. I also like to keep my wallet as compact as possible. Surprisingly, these two goals collided nicely when Reborn Rubber offered us the chance to review their wallets made from upcycled wetsuits!
Let me just begin by saying this: Without the Zoom H6, my podcast experience has been less than mediocre. I’ve recorded using a USB Mic for the better part of year to record my show, but Zoom’s H6 has been a delight to use, and going forward it’s the only way I’ll record my show.
If you happen to like playing the guitar or are just a music fan, Roland’s BTM-1 Bluetooth Speaker might be the one device you need to entertain your family and friends this summer.
Prior to using Netgear’s Orbi Voice, I suffered many excruciating days using Verizon FiOS terrible home router. It cost me a pretty penny but offered up absolutely NO perks, and truth be told, my internet felt SLOWER using its Gigabit internet. This isn’t the case since I’ve got Netgear’s new Mesh WiFi System. So let’s dive in.
In my review of the awesome Vari ProPlus 30 Electric sit-stand converter, I noted the company includes one of their Power Hubs with the purchase. (Read my review.) It gives you three AC outlets and two USB ports. I also noted that the Vari Power Hub, which is also available as a standalone product for $50, deserves its own review. Here’s why.
Even with using a 15-inch MacBook Pro, screen retail space is limited. At least that was the case until I received the Luna Display by Astropad. Now, I can get everything done as if I had two monitors.
In a move that should surprise absolutely nobody, Samsung today announced that their $2,000 Galaxy Fold phone — which apparently had trouble folding repeatedly without breaking — would be on an indefinite hiatus.
Orangered Life created the 30° Ruler as part of their effort when creating their other Kickstarter project Foliage and realized the limitations inherent in rulers available to them. Some of the better products are those which are simple and yet address some basic problems efficiently and that’s what the 30° Ruler aims to do.
I needed more work space, so I recently added a fixed desk to my office’s standing desk and placed my iMac on it. The problem was, my computer was now only usable when seated. Thankfully, the Vari ProPlus 36 Electric arrived for review. It once again lets me work both seated and standing. It came fully assembled and ready to go.
Mobile World Congress didn’t disappoint this year; there were so many new smartphones shown, and that’s where the LG G8 ThinQ made its debut. Loaded with tech, the G8 ThinQ is a compact communication device with fantastic sound, better than average cameras, a gorgeous screen, and minimalistic design.
I’ve impressed with the way wireless headphones with active noise cancellation have evolved. Many now offer amazing sound, great battery life, and effective ANC. And many cost $300 or more. Not the TaoTronics Hybrid Active Noise cancellation though. They cost under $100. But are they any good? That was my question as I unboxed the review sample.
You have to hand it to Samsung, they are nothing if not persistent in sticking with their AI assistant named Bixby. They even continue to have dedicated physical buttons on the new Samsung Galaxy S10 devices like the S10e I recently reviewed. Now there’s an easy way to take back the button and use it for an actually useful Assistant – Google’s.
