The Jide Remix Ultratablet: Finally a Tablet for Productivity

I’ve been a fan of Android since the beginning. While the phone experience has been solid lately, the tablet experience hasn’t been. While I thought it was ok, it really wasn’t. Jide has gone a long way to help this out with their version of Android, titled RemixOS with the Jide Ultra Tablet.  It’s a winner.

JBL Charge 3 Offers Kick-Ass Waterproof Sound with Power to Go

JBL describes the JBL Charge 3 as a “waterproof portable Bluetooth speaker with a high-capacity battery to charge your portable devices.” Available in black, blue, grey, red and teal, the speaker puts out serious sound, can go pretty much anywhere you want to go and doubles as an external battery for your smartphone. At $149.95 it’s a bargain.

Simple Workout Log Makes My FrankenWorkout Easy to Follow!

I’ve bounced between a number of different workout programs; I started with Stronglifts 5×5, then You Are Your Own Gym. Both programs had dedicated apps, so I didn’t have to think about how to track my progress. Since then, I’ve concocted a frankenworkout, but I needed an easy way to track the routine, and Simple Workout Log is my favorite!

The STM Trestle Is the Slim Backpack for ALL of Your Things

Alright, I’ll have to admit, I have a love for a good backpack. I’ve used messenger bags for my daily commute, but I have a fond love for a bag I can place on my shoulders and be on the go with. The issue with many of those bags is that they are entirely too bulky to bother with, or just simply do not get what I’m trying to do.

Fuse Chicken’s Armour Charge Cable Will Never Fray On You

If you are looking for a cable for your iPhone or iPad that won’t fray on you after 90 days, all while looking stylish, you need to be checking out Fuse Chicken’s ARMOUR CHARGE stainless steel cable. The cable itself is a beautiful accessory for your smart device by Apple that will only set you back $34.95. Having an adventurous puppy in the house, and also being a bit reckless when it comes to pulling my cords from the wall in a rush, when Fuse Chicken sent over their Armour Charge cable my initial thought was “Do I really need…

Otterbox’s Symmetry Hybrid for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is Protective And Stylish

If you know anything about Otterbox, is that they value protecting your devices, all while showing off elements of the device it’s encasing, with little subtle things like cutouts, or clear backing for the accessories, and the Defender for the iPad Pro is no different. Otterbox sent us over their Symmetry Series Hybrid Case, which is everything Apple should’ve made when they created their smart covers for the iPad Pro, but with more protection. If you have an iPad Pro, you know how large the device is, and just simply carrying it around on the city streets with just something…

With the JBL CLIP 2, Summer Just Got a New BFF

We are fans of JBL audio products and the new JBL Clip 2 is no exception. The small Bluetooth speaker packs a punch, but that’s just the beginning. It gets great battery life, doubles as a speakerphone, has an integrated carabiner clip, and for good measure is waterproof. And with a price under $60, it’s a steal! The speaker is small and, except for the integrated carabiner clip, is fairly nondescript. My review sample came in black so it looks a bit like an overly thick hockey puck. If you are not going for the hockey puck look you can…

Exos-Gear Bravo Series Backpack Review

I recently reviewed the commuter series pack from Exos-Gear and have enjoyed using it with my every day computer gear. The company also has a tactical style backpack called the Bravo Series, which retails for $37.95.  While I had planned on using the backpack as my new shooting bag, I actually found an unintended use that works out great.

Ultimate Ears Rolls Out the UE ROLL 2

“Designed to take your music wherever, whenever, UE ROLL 2 is the perfect musical companion for your next adventure.” That’s how Ultimate Ears describes the new UE Roll 2 Bluetooth Speaker. I describe it as a worthy update to one of my favorite portable Bluetooth speakers. It offers all-around improvements AND is under $100! The UE Roll is a magnificent little speaker. (Read my review about it here!) It’s small, unassuming size belies the loud, impressive sound it puts out. It’s sandwich roll shape shuns the boxy or cylindrical shape of most Bluetooth speakers. And it’s free, downloadable companion app lets…
