Usually, when I write a review, I end up liking, disliking, or feeling ambivalent about the product. Even when a product isn’t something I need or might use, I can understand the target audience and give it a fair review. Even so, I’ve struggled while reviewing the Wristcam for Apple Watch, but not for the usual reasons.

If there’s one thing we always need, it’s more space to charge our devices. Between my iPhone, my Apple Watch, Airpods, and other devices, there’s always something on a charger at my desk. The Logitech Powered 3-in-1 Dock capably charges multiple devices AND reduces the clutter of wires everywhere!
When I purchased my iPhone 12 Pro Max back in 2020, one of the highlighted features was the MagSafe Charging. I went out of my way to purchase Apple’s charging puck for it at an astounding $39, but unfortunately, the lack of a dock option made it less useful than I had hoped. To the rescue came the Belkin MagSafe 3-in-1 Wireless Charger with MagSafe 15W Charging.
We recently brought word about the new Nomad Titanium Band for Apple Watch. I reviewed and love the original Titanium Band and wasn’t sure how they could improve upon it. But this is Nomad we are talking about, and they did indeed improve the band. It is better than ever and, to me, it’s a piece of wearable art.
I’m back to wearing my Apple Watch daily; most days, it is sporting either the Nomad Titanium band I reviewed some time ago or the Nomad Active Strap Pro I recently reviewed. Adding to their Apple Watch band options, Nomad has just announced a new line of Steel and Titanium bands; they look great, and I can’t wait to try them!
During most of the year, my Apple Watch is dressed up in Nomad’s Titanium Band. It’s great for both business and casual wear but a bit on the heavy side. Now that it’s warming up, I wanted something lighter. The Nomad Active Strap Pro fits the bill. Made from waterproof leather, the $79.95 strap and comes in either black or brown.
It’s time for a bit of spring cleaning for us all, but Nomad, one of our favorite brands, has launched their Spring Cleaning Outlet Sale that opens up the opportunity to get major discounts on several of their products as they make room for a bunch of new product launches coming down the line.
You’ll likely get at least one gift this holiday season that needs to be charged. Unfortunately, companies like Apple no longer include wall adapters with their phones. Thankfully, Aukey offers a range of smart, technologically advanced charging solutions. You can see all their offerings here. First, though, take a look at the four offerings they sent us to check out.
Nomad sent me their new Sport Strap to check out, and trust me — if you planned on getting an aftermarket band for your Apple Watch, this one needs to be it. It’s quite possibly the best third-party Apple Watch band I’ve ever used.
Amazon’s Prime Day event is running October 13th through 14th, giving you two days to save big on lots of items Amazon sells. Since Amazon basically sells everything, this has turned into a highly anticipated annual event. Here are some of the deals that have arrived in my inbox; I will add more over the next couple of days, so be sure to check back!
Almost a decade ago, Judie introduced me to a product from a new company called Nomad. It was the ChargeKey, a keychain attachment with a USB on one side, and a Lightning connector on the other. Little did I know Nomad would become one of my favorite accessory companies. On their 8th anniversary, the savings are yours for the taking.
Nomad makes some of the best wireless charging solutions available. I loved the original Nomad Base Station Apple Watch Edition (read my review) but missed the rear charging ports found on other Base Station models. Nomad just addressed that and just released a new version with ports galore; now you can charge pretty much all your devices at once.
If you happen to have an Apple Watch and a smartphone, you know one of the biggest issues is having to use multiple cables and setups to get them both to charge simultaneously. Now you can do that with the Kanex GoPower Watch Stand with Wireless Charging Base; it promises to be the solution to cables lying around your nightstand.
I love my fast, comfortable, cellular-connected Apple Watch Gen 4 and wear it daily. Over the summer, I used the Nomad Sport Strap so I could swim. (Read my review.) The rest of the time I’ve used the titanium band. (Read my review.) Since getting the new $69.95 the Nomad Active Strap, however, it’s been my “go-to” strap; here’s why.
Nomad has long been one of Gear Diary’s favorite brands, with everything from leather cases for our phones to bands for Apple Watches. For this Black Friday, they are marking down items on their entire site, with savings up to 70% off on some items.
Whether you’re a yoga instructor, a professional athlete or a casual gym-goer, you’ll want to learn more about the smartwatches on the market. If you have your eye on the Apple Series 5 Watch, here’s what you need to know.
The other day I reviewed mophie’s 3-in-1 charging pad. It’s ideal for someone who has an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPod’s with a wireless charging case. I have an iPhone. I have an Apple Watch. But I don’t have AirPods. Mophie’s dual wireless charging pad isn’t specifically designed for AirPods so, for me, it is a better option.
Mophie was one of the first companies to offer battery cases for the iPhone and other mobile devices. In the years since, mophie has emerged as one of the premier mobile device accessory companies. Now, with wireless charging becoming ubiquitous, mophie is adding new wireless charging devices to their catalog. The mophie 3-in-1 wireless charging pad is one such accessory.
Our friends at Nomad woke up this morning, realized it was Labor Day, and decided that their day off would be made even better if they held a flash sale. So that’s what they are doing! Nomad makes some of the best cables, charging hubs and phones case. We’re fans; that’s especially true when they are on sale.
Have you been looking for a way of getting fit this summer? The Activ5 is a new Pocket-sized smart device that will make sure you get a full body exercise virtually anywhere that you go.
I stopped wearing my first generation Apple Watch a few months after getting it. My 4th generation Apple Watch with cellular connectivity is a different story. I wear it every day, and it’s beginning to show. When I noticed a few small scratches on the screen, I knew it was time for Invisible Shield’s glass+ 360 for Apple Watch Series 4.
