Sleep Number just introduced the new Sleep Number 360 smart bed. Judie spent some time with the Sleep Number 360 curing CES 2017. XYZprinting Introduces a Wide Range of 3D Printing Solutions at CES 2017

XYZprinting has announced an abundance of low-cost and adaptable 3D printers at their booth at CES 2017 in Las Vegas.  Starting at $229.95, XYZprinting’s new offerings include the da Vinci Nano, da Vinci Junior 2.0 Mix, the Nobel 1.0A, and the Nobel Superfine.  These new 3D printers run the gamut from beginner-friendly to professional-grade will be available starting January, 2017.







Misfit Announces Vapor Smartwatch with Touchscreen

Misfit is determined to conquer every level of the fitness wearables market with devices that place style on the same level as function. They started with the Shine, then the Flash, and post-Fossil acquisition they’ve released the Ray and the Phase Hybrid. Now they’re looking to tackle the true smartwatch market with the $199 Vapor! Vapor appears to tick all the usual smartwatch/fitness watch boxes. It has GPS, can function as a standalone music device, tracks heart rate, and is waterproof for swimming. Wearables Aren’t Dead Yet at CES

It appears that wearables aren’t as dead as suspected. That, or companies still had product in the pipeline and figured they would go ahead and release them anyway. In any case, Garmin, Casio, and Intel/New Balance have all thrown their hats into the tracking ring (wrist?)!



Samsung and Google Create Chromebooks That Truly Run Android

Chromebooks have been able to run Android apps for about a year now, but it’s been hit and miss. Not all Chromebooks have touchscreens, and even the ones with touchscreens aren’t necessarily optimized for use as an Android device as well. Samsung and Google seem determined to change that with the newly announced Chromebook Plus and Chromebook Pro. These look an awful lot like most touchscreen Chromebooks these days.
