2015 Nissan Juke NISMO: Fun Elevated

Nissan introduced the Juke compact vehicle several years ago that, for all intents and purposes, is one difficult vehicle to define. I call it a CrossHatch as it is part crossover utility vehicle and part hatchback. Throw some performance mods from Nissan Motorsports into the mix and we have the fun and funky 2015 Juke NISMO.


Todoist for iOS Gets an Update

Todoist for iOS today received an update which, among other things, enhances the task management application so it now understand dates within your typed tasks, adds  themes (no more default red color!),  allows for  drag and dropping of tasks and more.



Microsoft Swings for the Fences with the Surface 3

Microsoft is a lot like the Little Engine That Could. Like the Little Engine, it keeps scaling big mountains that no one expected it to climb. Maybe this analogy doesn’t make any sense, but what does make sense is the new Surface 3, a full Windows machine in tablet form. RT is dead, but the Surface lives on!


The BlackBerry Leap is Available for Pre-Order Today!

As of March 30th, BlackBerry is now accepting pre-orders of their new BlackBerry Leap for the US, UK, France as well as Germany. The Blackberry leap features a 5-inch 720P display and will actually only be placed at $275, £199.00, or €289 according to the country that you live in and will be released officially on April 21.


Domino’s Introduces Ordering from Your Samsung Smart TV

There’s one thing that I think might be the greatest invention ever: Pizza. Everyone has their favorites, but mine is Domino’s. That crust with the seasoning, the green peppers; the pepperoni; the chicken … I probably could beat Dale Lamoureux in a box folding contest! So I was excited to learn that Domino’s has launched ordering from Samsung Smart TV’s!



Jay-Z’s ‘TIDAL’ Streaming Service to Be Owned by the Artists

In a “rich getting richer” move by Jay-Z, and a way for artists to make even more money than they already have, joined forces with 15 of today’s popular musical artists to announce TIDAL, the first ever artist owned streaming service.  The subscription-based service has two tiered plans offering high quality music and sound.



Gmail (Finally) Gets One Inbox

Will miracles never cease? Google just announced  their Gmail client now offers a universal inbox experience. Finally! Now instead of flipping between multiple accounts in the native Gmail app, you can click “All Inboxes” and view email from all your Gmail and non-Gmail accounts.


Google Photos (Finally) Arrives in Google Drive

Google today announced the ability to view and manage photos and videos in both Google+ and Google Drive. Previously you were limited to managing photos and videos within Google+. While this new feature is not yet live everywhere Google’s help page details that if you delete a photo/video in Google Drive it will also be removed from Google+ (and vice versa).


Get in Line: ‘Halo 5: Guardians’ Release Date Revealed!

One of the most anticipated Xbox One exclusive video game releases of this year now has a release date. Published by Microsoft Studios and developed by 343 Industries, the first-person shooter game Halo 5: Guardians will be the sixth installment in the popular game series featuring the Master Chief along with the new Spartan Locke character who appeared in the live action series Halo: Nightfall.

The Apple Retail Store, the Watch, and the Consumer

Have you been in an Apple Retail Store recently? I was just in one yesterday, and the experience made me seriously question whether adding “fashion advice” to the list of specialties Apple Stores offer is a good idea. It also made me wonder if Apple’s customer service advantage is starting to fade, as it was a less than great experience.


Slice Ceramic Box Cutters = Fewer Sliced Fingers

The folks at Slice sent us an assortment of their ceramic bladed cutting tools. Their main products come as Box Cutters or Pen Cutters  in either auto-retractable or 3-position styles. The difference between the styles is you either lock the blade to one of three lengths or use finger pressure to hold the blade out to whatever length you desire.


Slack Got Hacked

Current multi-billion dollar valuation  media darling of the month – Slack – just announced  “unauthorized access to a Slack database storing user profile information”. In other words, Slack was hacked. According to a post, a small number of accounts showed suspicious activity and those users were notified. In response to the hack, Slack has created a two factor authentication option.
