If you’ve been searching for a Bluetooth speaker that looks great and puts out magnificent sound — whether plugged in or on the go — look no further than the Harman Kardon Go+Play Portable Bluetooth Speaker. With its comfortable metal handle and ~8 hours of play time, the Go+Play is made to bring along when you want impressive sound.
To call the FABRIQ speaker cute is a fair assessment. It is fair… but it is incomplete. Because while the FABRIQ is a small, cute, Bluetooth speaker, it is also a smart speaker that integrates with Amazon Alexa, has an affordable $49 price, and offers multi-speaker connectivity. Those last two points, price, and multi-speaker connectivity are an especially nice combination.
Of all the Bluetooth speakers I’ve reviewed, the Honeycomb Sound Wireless Bluetooth Speaker has to be the most unusual — in looks, anyway. The honeycomb body is made of ABS plastic (I thought it was aluminum at first) with iron speaker grilles; the design is beautiful, but how’s the sound?
It’s easy to get caught up purchasing only brands that you recognize or using price as an indication of quality when shopping for a Bluetooth speaker, but by doing that you lose out on a lot of really great options. One item that you might miss if you shop like that is the TimoLabs Corbett I S Waterproof Speaker.
Scosche is known for their great quality speakers in the past, and I was recently given the chance to review the BoomBOTTLE H2O+. Once again, the brand does not disappoint with their new waterproof portable speaker; it has a beautiful design and even better sound.
Bluetooth speakers have become quite common and almost like a tool. The SuperStar HotShot by Monster ($49.95) is a super compact speaker with the ability to clip onto a backpack, jacket, or belt. Does a speaker this small still bring sound worth listening to? I was able to review the HotShot and my findings might surprise you. Let’s take a look.
Bluetooth wireless speakers have burst onto the scene like gangbusters. Recently I received a pair of BoostSound Bluetooth speakers from iClever and after spending some time with each I can see the attraction and need for items such as the iClever BTS-05 and BTS-07.
We recently reviewed the waterproof BRAVEN 105. It is a fine speaker at a great price, but for under $50 you can’t expect to get amazing sound. By spending a bit more you can up your game and get the BRAVEN BRV-1M. At $99.99 it is double the price but, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for!
As I’ve previously noted, I’m a huge fan of Audioengine products. The HD6 are among my favorite speakers and the B2 resides in our bedroom. So color me surprise that I think the HD3 Wireless Music System is AudioEngine’s best offering yet. These may look like simple desktop speakers, but they’re a complete music system packing Audioengine’s best audio tech.
Over the past few years, we’ve reviewed a number of speakers from BRAVEN. INCIPIO’s acquisition of the brand clearly hasn’t slowed the pace of development. If anything, the exact opposite has happened, and there are a host of new products being rolled out. The BRAVEN 105 is the first of three we’ll be looking at in this review series.
Your home can never truly be complete without a great speaker, and there’s one in particular out there that won’t take up much space, but it will certainly fill a room!
If your life is a journey, Yatra wants to tag along. The technology product company prides itself in designing creative yet rugged items to help bridge our active, tech-forward lifestyles. Yatra itself is an ancient word for journey or voyage passage and Yatra products, like the Aquatune 5712 waterproof Bluetooth speaker we just tested, want to journey with you.
Crisp, clean audio is something I love and demand while listening to my favorite tunes. The new era of Bluetooth connected audio devices not only makes us wireless, but they can also sound pretty good. I recently had the opportunity to review the Chant Sport from House of Marley. The speaker costs $89.99 and doesn’t disappoint. Let’s take a look!
A few months ago we had the pleasure of reviewing the FUGOO Style XL, which we touted as a great speaker for both outdoors as well as an indoor casual Bluetooth speaker for everyone. So when we received the Tough XL by FUGOO, we know that it would be just as great the second time around!
I’m finishing up a review of VIZIO M-Series display. It’s an amazing Ultra HD display with Google Cast built in. I’ve been looking at VIZIO sound bars to add to it and was psyched to get word that VIZIO is also bringing some WiFi speakers to market in the form of the all-new VIZIO SmartCast Crave Pro and 360 Speaker.
It seems like everyone has a cylindrical portable speaker for sale, so at first glance, the VAVA Voom 20 may seem like a me-too product. But once you check out the features — and see the price — it might just win you over.
I’m a huge fan of Libratone’s speakers. We reviewed the first generation of the ZIPP here on Gear Diary when it first came out, and the current iteration of the ZIPP (which added Bluetooth) in both sizes a few months ago. Now we are looking at the Libratone ONE Click and … I love it.
One thing that my home way truly missing was a really good home stereo/music system, so while shopping around I stumbled across the Mu-so by Naim Audio. While expensive at $1499, the speaker gets the job done!
JBL describes the JBL Charge 3 as a “waterproof portable Bluetooth speaker with a high-capacity battery to charge your portable devices.” Available in black, blue, grey, red and teal, the speaker puts out serious sound, can go pretty much anywhere you want to go and doubles as an external battery for your smartphone. At $149.95 it’s a bargain.
We are fans of JBL audio products and the new JBL Clip 2 is no exception. The small Bluetooth speaker packs a punch, but that’s just the beginning. It gets great battery life, doubles as a speakerphone, has an integrated carabiner clip, and for good measure is waterproof. And with a price under $60, it’s a steal! The speaker is small and, except for the integrated carabiner clip, is fairly nondescript. My review sample came in black so it looks a bit like an overly thick hockey puck. If you are not going for the hockey puck look you can…
“Designed to take your music wherever, whenever, UE ROLL 2 is the perfect musical companion for your next adventure.” That’s how Ultimate Ears describes the new UE Roll 2 Bluetooth Speaker. I describe it as a worthy update to one of my favorite portable Bluetooth speakers. It offers all-around improvements AND is under $100! The UE Roll is a magnificent little speaker. (Read my review about it here!) It’s small, unassuming size belies the loud, impressive sound it puts out. It’s sandwich roll shape shuns the boxy or cylindrical shape of most Bluetooth speakers. And it’s free, downloadable companion app lets…
