Become a Podcasting Hero with the MXL APS Podcasting Bundle

For the past few years, I’ve been trying to increase Gear Diary’s presence on YouTube. Sure, we are approaching nine million lifetime views but that’s not enough. But do make a decent video requires a good microphone. I’ve tried a few, but MXL Podcasting APS Bundle promises to make it even easier.

Lenovo Jumps into the Folding Game

Were you super intrigued by the Samsung Galaxy Fold but skeptical about the benefits in a phone-size product? Lenovo is taking a whack at folding screens with a new Thinkpad X1 folding prototype-basically, a folding laptop. That runs full Windows. If it works, this is a game changer.

Toshiba Renames Themselves Dynabook, Embracing Dynamic Changes

Big news if you’re a fanboy of Toshiba computers (hey, everyone needs a hobby) — they’re renaming themselves “Dynabook”, both in the US and around the world. This does not appear to change anything, except that next time you’re in Best Buy wondering if “Dynabook” was a character in The Incredibles*, you’ll remember it was actually Toshiba. My Experience Building a New PC

Before classes began this year, I’d decided it was finally time to get a new PC. My current laptop was a behemoth, weighing a little under 5 pounds with hardware a little over 7 years old. I’d been wanting and looking for a new PC off and on for a few years now, but nothing either fit what I needed or was within my price range.
