I woke up this morning to Twitter in a frenzy courtesy of Apple’s Servers! Apparently iTunes Connect is refusing logins, the iBooks store is not responding, and I cannot download Temple run Oz! Help!! If you did like myself and ran to Apple’s forums looking for App Store answers, you were in a room full of people also searching.
For a while my family was entranced with SongPop, the fun and addicting song identification game from FreshPlanet. They also have released MoviePop and other engaging social competitive games. Now for the upcoming Apple Watch release they have announced BoxPop, a game that challenges you to pop boxes and make your way through challenging puzzle grids.
It isn’t hard to find bad news about malls – in our (small) local mall, the Deb, Pac Sun, Gap, Radio Shack and a few small stores are all closing. Even the bigger anchor stores such as Macy’s, Sears and JC Penny are seeing pressure from online sales that lower traffic, also hurting smaller stores. Only exception? Apple stores.
Apple Watch buyers yesterday were happy to know that the Apple Watch would have 8GB of internal memory, regardless of model. However, the current operating system will only allot a portion of the internal storage for the music and photo portion, leaving you roughly 2 gigs of storage for music, and 75 megabytes for photographs. 9to5Mac confirmed yesterday that all three models of the Apple Watch would have the same memory at release. 9to5mac: As a user, you are only allowed to use a subsection of that total space for certain types of data. As confirmed with Apple, users are only…

Following the release of iOS 8.2 yesterday by Apple, the question lingering on every jailbreakers mind was simple: Will I be able to jailbreak my device? The current status is: No. The TaiG jailbreak team claimed in January before the 8.2 Beta was closed by Apple, that they had exploits for 8.2 ready, so everyone assumed that within hours of Apple releasing the update, TaiG would release it. What we do know is the current version of TaiG does NOT work on 8.2. In the meanwhile, there are a few things you may want to know prior to updating to…

April 12th cannot get here fast enough! In what seems like an eternity since the Season Four, Apple this morning gave us a sneak peak of what HBO has in store for us. However if you missed the actual unveiling after Apple announced their new deal with HBO that resulted in HBO NOW, you are in for a treat. Pulling from both books 4 & 5 from George R.R Martin’s “A Song Of Ice” it’s getting hot (and that’s not the fire from the dragons in the trailer). The two-minute trailer will bring back our favorite characters like Tyrion and…

We were in Costco a few weeks ago, and the quinoa they were carrying was a different brand than we’ve bought in the past. We set out to find out if the new quinoa was safe for our son’s allergies, and we learned two things: Amazon and Costco are very nice, and no one can track down “Nature’s Intent, LLC“.
When a hot tech product launches, everyone rushes to get it, all tech sites scramble to review it right away … but often that is the last anyone hears about it. But with updates so easy to process now, more and more products mature nicely over time. Now 5 months post-launch I have an iPhone 6 Plus … what do I think?
The Sling TV service adds AMC and IFC to their offerings plus a new “Hollywood Extra” add-on that includes four VOD-capable Epix movie channels (EPIX, EPIX2, EPIX3, EPIX Drive-In) and Sundance TV for an additional $5 a month.
For more than a century International Women’s Day has been held on March 8th. And it is amazing to think of the things that have happened in our country and world for women since that time. The date is derived from the women of Petrograd, Russia holding a “bread and peace” strike in 1917, but the message is timeless.
Over at Buzzfeed there is a post highlighting the videos of Mario Wienerroither, who posts ‘musicless’ videos by stripping the original music and remixing them with either actual or imagined sounds and effects of what might have been going on during the filming video. The results are awkward and embarrassing … but always intriguing!

If I had to break down my online presence by companies, I’d say I’m split between Microsoft and Google. My jump from Windows Phone to Android was easy, but as Clinton Fitch points out, it’s because of Microsoft and not Google.
